Love Notes For You - - - Debbie Shares A Mixed Media Canvas

Thursday, November 21, 2013

Hi, Debbie here today to share with you a mixed media canvas I made using the
I  love the papers and embellishments in the kit and thought the combination was a perfect match to
create a 8 x 8 canvas.

I started off by covering my canvas with the Faber Castell Gesso found in our Mixed Media Starter kit. Next I used the Crafter's Workshop 6x6 Circle Grid Stencil from the November kit along with the Heidi Swapp Confetti stencil, found here in the store and applied some Golden Molding Paste from the Mixed Media Starter kit.  I randomly sprayed my background with some pink mist and also applied some of the Donna Salazar Mix'd Media Inx - Schoolhouse along with some of the Dylusions White Linen Ink Spray from the store.  I randomly stamped my background using the Prima Marketing Sunrise Sunset Clear Stamp, and then added some circles by dipping an empty toilet paper cardboard roll in some white paint.  I inked the edges of my canvas using the Donna Salazar Mix'd Media Inx - Honey.

I had a canvas banner left from the October Mixed Media Paper Kit which I stamped with the Prima stamps included in the kit using the Schoolhouse ink, which I also applied to some of the lace.

I took the three Pink Paislee Luxe Collection Chipboard Hearts, turned them over and stamped them with the Schoolhouse ink.

I added a beautiful cluster using flowers from the kit which I inked, along with some brads and a Cosmo Cricket Cabochon.

I really enjoyed creating my canvas and I hope that I have inspired you.  If you haven't purchased a kit yet, I encourage you to buy one.  The possibilities are endless . . . so many goodies in the kit to create with.

Thanks for stopping by!
 . . . Debbie
