A Beautiful Day with Connie and the Spring Gardens Kit!

Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Hi Everyone! Connie here and it's my turn at Frosted Designs.  I am loving the April kit "Spring Garden".  Since spring is finally here in the North Country. (Sorta) I dug up a spring photo from last year. My daughter Serena and her boyfriend at Prom. I love that her dress can go with so many of my printed paper.

I started by using a lace punch.
I inked the edges
trimmed pattern paper to 11 x 11
cut top piece 4 x 11
applied to base
I cut another pattern paper 1 x 11
I painted gesso on the fabscrap chipboard piece and when it was dry lightly inked it.
I added another frame from a border punch from my stash
I used another pattern paper for the photo mat  4 1/4 x 6 1/4.
I used the same paper and cut 2 pieces for the frames.
I used the stencil and molding paste on random parts on the page.
when it was  dry I applied  frame. doily and flower clusters.
I also cut out Title and pop dotted it to frame.

An Out of the Blue Tag!

Wednesday, March 11, 2015

Hi there FD Friends! Rachelle here on the Blog today so excited to share this project I designed using this month's gorgeous kit "Out Of The Blue." Take a look!

"Don't Forget To Smile"

I really enjoyed designing this tag using the kit products. The tag is more of a mixed media style because I used the Tim Holtz layering stencil, background texture, and spritz. This is a 3 layered tag with distressed edges.

I

I so love the colors a long with the products. Fantastic KaiserCraft collection.

I used the beautiful lace, Shimelle wood veneer, and rose buds.
TIP: I saved each kit and use a few products for older kits. Perfect!!!!!

Here you can see lace flowers and Petaloo flowers which I applied to the tag. They make the tag more beautiful. The kit comes with crackle accent which I applied to the background to give it that rusty look.

Well that's it for today's post! I hope you like this project and feel ready to get started on yours.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pick up your kit and other craft products from the Frosted Designs Store!

A Sweet Card with the Sweet Love Kit!

Wednesday, February 11, 2015

Hi there FD friends. Rachelle here today sharing my card created for that special day. Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I decided to create a card for the occasion using the "Sweet Love" Kit. Take a look!

Happy Valentine's Day

I like creating non-traditional color theme cards. So I used the beautiful KaiserCraft XO pastel blue and peach Collection.

More Views:

I created the small envelope and added a bit of mixed media to give an elegant look.

Here you can see the heart stickers coming out of the envelope. I then fussy cut the title.

I really had fun creating the banner and sprinkled the art sugar on each small heart.

Finally, I placed my signature floral cluster and lace pearl bow at the bottom corner. There you have it!
I so enjoyed creating this card that one of my girlfriend's will be getting. Now it's your turn to get this gorgeous kit and create a fun project.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and be sure to pick up this kit and more from the Frosted Design Store.
See ya soon!
