Sketch Along Tuesday

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Welcome to our first Sketch Along Tuesday Challenge!  Our very own designers, Diana and Debbie have been busy creating some new and fresh sketches exclusively for Frosted Designs. Our Sketch Along Tuesday Challenge will be a bi-weekly challenge and our prize will be separate from our Fabulous Fridays Challenge.

Our first sketch was designed by Debbie:

And now let's see what the design team did with Debbie's sketch:

Debbie used My Mind's Eye Alphabet Soup collection to create this fun layout of her dog Zoey.

Debbie also used this week's sketch to make this friendship card.

Joni moved the "blocks" down into the body of the layout, but stayed pretty true to the original sketch design for this sweet simple page of her son's Kindergarten school photo using Bo Bunny's new school line, Learning Curve.

Barb took this week's sketch and turned it into an easel card! She changed one of the squares to a rectangle to accommodate her title!

Pat used Dusty Attic gates, Su papers & ribbon, felt leaves are LYB & the title & top leaves are Jolee's bling. Pat loved Debbie's sketch & pretty much used it the way it was.

Fern was so excited when she saw this wonderful sketch by Debbie.  It was perfect for all of those adorable photos she took of her little grandson dressed in his Halloween costume.  She rotated the sketch 90 deg. and used minimal embellishments so that the photos would take center stage.

Libeeti took some liberty with the sketch and  twisted it to fit her boy's photos, sitting in a train at the amuzement park. The title says: "Here comes the Train". She rolled some scraps to make the steam, and used some BG's die cuts for the wheels. She framed the "train" with some journaling.

If you play along with us with our Sketch Along Tuesday bi-weekly challenges you have a chance to win this fabulous prize this month featuring Cosmo Cricket's Togetherness Collection along with lots of embellishments:

Each biweekly challenge will have the Top 3 winners listed and at the end of the month one lucky person will win this Cosmos Cricket Collection.

Now it's your turn to be creative.  We'd love to see your layouts and cards.  Be sure to link up your entry by noon (est) on Monday, November 15th.  Monday evening we will announce our Top 3!
