Sketch Along Tuesday 11-16 Sketch

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

We're so glad that you could join us for our new Sketch Along Tuesday challenge here at Frosted Designs!  We've got some great new sketches to share with you, created by our very own designers, Diana and Debbie.   This week's sketch was created by Diana:
And here is what our DT has created using Diana's sketch:

Diana

Diana used this picture of her oldest and youngest child and quoted "Believe it or not it was not easy for me to create this LO using the sketch I made". She used The girls paperie "On Holiday" and Me and My Big Ideas, a little Basic Grey and some old primas from her stash.

Debbie

Debbie chose to flip and rotate Diana's sketch and created this layout of her Nana, using Teresa Collins, Giving Thanks collection  and Welcome Home Chipboard collection,  along with some Prima flowers and Making Memories bling.  Debbie also added some $1 finds she found at her local Michaels.

Libeeti
Like Fern and Pat, Libeeti thought the sketch calls for a vintage lo. Libeeti used one of her parents wedding's photo and made this lovely romantic lo. She used Webster's pages & 7 Gypsies dp, with lots of romantic and vintage look embellishments to go along with the dp's. The title, "As Time Goes By", is from Casablanca, which is Libeeti's fav movie.

Pat
Pat used Fancy Pants  Happy Together papers, Dusty Attic fence inked with SU ink, misc. crochet flowers, cricut to cut shaped paper, ribbon & lace trim.

Fern
Fern thought Diana's beautiful sketch would make the perfect heritage/vintage layout to showcase this treasured family photo of her Great Grandparents!!!

Joni
Joni used Basic Grey Pyrus to document the house where she grew up (and her parents just sold after 51 years).   She did double duty this week, as this also meets the "regular" challenge this week of THANKS.  The epoxy sticker (sorry for the glare) says "I can never Thank You enough" and she journaled a little thank you note to her parents.  She stitched beads onto the borders for extra dimension.

Now remember if you play along with  our Sketch Along Tuesday bi-weekly challenges you have a chance to win this fabulous prize this month featuring Cosmo Cricket's Togetherness Collection along with lots of embellishments:

Look at all this yummy goodness!!

That is a lot of scappy goodness!!! How about some closeups for a better look?!!  :)
Did you see all those flowers and ribbons and buttons and rhinestones?!
It even has a sticker sheet, element cards and border strips!!
And...Look at that paper!! This paper is two sided so you have a lot of patterns to choose from!!!

Each biweekly challenge will have the Top 3 winners listed and at the end of the month one lucky person will win this Cosmo Cricket Collection.

Now it's your turn to be creative.  We'd love to see your layouts and cards.  Be sure to link up your entry by noon (est) on Monday, November 29th.  Monday evening we will announce our Top 3!
