We have a Felt Challenge for you!!

Thursday, July 8, 2010

Hi I’m Pat, I live in VT with my husband Dale. We have 2 grown sons, a daughter- in- law, 2 precious granddaughters & 2 Shih-Tzu’s. I started scrapping when our 1st grand daughter was born 8 yrs ago. Once I figured out what I was doing & knew this was the hobby for me I was in love!
Then I realized as my granddaughters got older & were looking through their albums, we are not just putting pictures on pretty paper we are documenting “our history”. This is our lives, our joys, our tears, the good, & the bad for all future generations to see.
I am proud to be a scrapbooker. The keeper of our history. You can read more about me and find my work by clicking HERE!!

Are you ready for a new challenge??? Here it is , yup we want you to get out your felt & use it on your project.
On my LO I used Bazzil c/s, pattern paper is Best Creation, Thicker alphas,  the felt stars & pennants were cut using the Cricut, SU scallop punch, & word window punch, misc. ribbons, brads & gems. I used a sketch from My Sketch World.

Have fun & remember you have a chance at the July prize each time you enter a project.

Here are the rest of the design team projects!

Diana used the pagemap sketch from this months challenge for this one. She used the felt as a banner and then again on the bottom left.

Joni caught her son calling their Grape Arbor ...  "GrapeBARBER"....(all one word).  So, she immediately took a photo and jotted it down to document.  She used Fancy Pants Orange Felt Border (adhered w/brads), Queen & Co Leafy felt border up the right side & Jolee's felt leafs clustered under the Maya Road owl.  Journal spot, chipboard accents & paper is Bella Blvd Man Around the House line.

Barb found these cute little felt stickers that matched perfectly with the DCWV paper she had. She used a white gel pen to add some detail around the edges of her page and to give the circles some "stitches"!

For this fun challenge, Kim used all felt embellishments. The fun loopy border, the buttons, flower, and flourishes are felt pieces from a 75% off bucket at a local store.

Jessica accented her self-adhesive felt border from Kaiser Craft with brightly colored buttons to coordinate with the patterned paper she used on the layout.

Now is your turn... let's see what you can do!! Be sure to link up your projects for a chance to win!!!
