Fabulous Friday Challenge!

Friday, April 8, 2011

First of all, we would like to thank all of you that have been playing along! We had 120 entries last week and the projects were all so amazing! We can't wait to see what all of you do with this challenge!!

Welcome back to a new Fabulous Friday Challenge! This is going to be a great week!  Not only do we have more amazing Design Team projects to share with you, we also have Imaginisce as a sponsor again this week!! I know most of you are familiar with their products and their gorgeous paper lines and the good news for you... you are going to have a chance to win some Imaginisce products!

This week we are asking you to use BRADS on your cards, layouts or projects! And what could be better for doing that than the i-top tool!! This compact tool allows you make custom brads to fit any project you are working on! It can be used with paper and fabric!  And we are giving you a chance to win one this week!! That's right! Just for playing along, you could win an i-top along with the medium punch and some medium brads! Now you can make brads of your own!

All you have to do is make a project that uses brads on it to qualify! Note: you do NOT have to use the i-top to enter. Any brads will do!

Before we get to the Design Teams Projects this week, we would like to introduce our newest designer! Andrea was a guest designer on our Sketch Along Tuesdays challenge a few weeks ago and we decided that we had to have her on our team! Luckily she said yes and accepted our invitation!

Andrea

I have been in the food industry for 21 years.  I am a wife and mother to three children and 5 stepchildren. Scrapbooking is my land of happiness.  It's my way of escaping the stress of every day life.  I love to create things with my hands.
I started scrapbooking just a few years ago when my wonderful hubby bought me a Cricut.  Up until that time, scrapbooking was just a thought.  I really didn't think it was my "thing".  Now look at me!  I love to experiment with all the scrapbooking styles, but Distressed is my favorite! I enjoy making handmade embellishments and papers to share with my friends.  I am always looking for ways to make something beautiful out of something that would normally discarded.

Here is Andrea's project for the brad challenge....

Andrea has an easy stop by step tutorial on her blog showing how to make this basket! Go check it out! (Click on her name above the photo!)

Welcome Andrea!!

And now... here is what the rest of our design team has done to inspire you to use brads on your projects.....

Barb used the i-top to make the brads for the centers of her flowers. By using the i-top she was able to make brads that perfectly coordinated with her paper collection. This paper is also from Imaginisce.

Remember, you can find out more about each project by clicking on the design team member's name above their photo. It will take you directly to their blogs!

We would love to see what you can do with our brad challenge! Be sure to link up your project by noon (CST) Thursday for a chance to win the i-top tool! One random winner will be choosen from all the qualifying entries!
