Advice from a Fairy

Sunday, September 28, 2014

Hi everyone, it's time for Moonlit Dreams!
I made this adorable ( if you don't mind me saying so ) little chipboard booklet.
I've also used many goodies from previous Frosted Designs kits ( psst, some of the kits are on sale too, just saying ;) ) and from items from the Frosted Designs store ( did you know you get free shipping for orders over $50.00??) to help embellish it.

I drew the fairy on a piece of water color paper and then attached her to a piece of lightweight chipboard ( aka as a cereal box ) and cut her out. That way, she is sturdier than just being on paper and easier to cut out by hand than if she was on the heavier chipboard that I used for the mushroom.

I try and look at my stamps in a different way and I used the flourish stamp that comes in the Moonlit Dreams kit by masking the stamp to only get parts of it to show up. The little flowers were embellished with stickles.

Here, I offset the flourish and added some flowers that came in a previous Frosted Designs kit. I love all the kits, they are just chocked full of goodies to use on LOTS of different projects!

I didn't make a how to video but I did put together a little slide show to show you all the pages inside of it!

So make your own magic and get your kit today!
