Sundays with Sandee - Lindy Spray Inks are here!

Sunday, January 19, 2014

I am so sorry everyone that this is being posted late, for the last 2 weeks I have been having issues with my WiFi, and I am here, today, posting from Starbucks after church! So, without further ado, here is my video:

I am loving the new textile dye Lindy Stamp Gang Sprays that we have in the store as much as I am having a versatile stencil like the Dylusions Flossie. Here are some close ups:

This is a mixed media wall hanging using the Flossie Stencil "as is" and painting a layer of Ranger Distress Crackle Paint over it.

Altering the stencil a little bit, now giving her some fluidity by painting her in with a pipette and Dylusion Inks.

Again altering the Flossie stencil and coloring her in with Lindy's Starburst Ink Sprays and some magicals plus some masking.

And finally, an altered Flossie with her arms down in front holding a heart, all colored in with the Lindy Magicals.

I want to give a little shout out to this fabulous drawing set that we sell in the store, you really do get everything you need for sketching and journaling:

Pigma Sensei Manga Drawing Set

I hope you join us over at the Frosted Designs Facebook page and share with us an altered stencil idea! It's amazing what we can do once we are willing to step out of the box and see something just a little differently!

So much so, I may just have to keep one for myself!!! I LOVE what you created and how you took one stencil and created so many unique things with it!! You have out done yourself again!!
