It's sew Sandee!

Wow, I LOVE this kit, it's full of awesome goodies to play with...and it's all sparkly and blingy...a mixed media girl's dream come true!

Here's my mixed media card that I made using the Heidi Swap Color Shine in Gold, Rangers Frosted Lace Stickles, Mudslide Mix seed beads from Mode and the Prima Holiday Jubilee Say it in Crystals from the kit.

I love textures like molding paste and beads, they can add a lot of pop to a simple card. Look at all that shine and glimmer.

I made a short tutorial about sewing on cards, it's fun and adds another wonderful dimension plus you can see the steps I used in creating this easy card!

I hope I inspired you to get your needle and thread out to stitch on your card, layout or altered project and we would love to see them on the Frosted Designs Facebook page!

If you want more mixed media techniques, then be sure to stop in on Sunday with

Your card is sooo pretty!! Now this is a technique I think I can do!! I must say though, after watching your video, I was extremely impressed at how you could cut the sides of your mat without a paper trimmer!! And it was straight!! I would never dare such a brave thing!!! lol!!

Sandee, I learned something I never new and that was how to sew on beads and the cardstock. This is so simple, and you were cutting without a paper cutter, what a steady hand and straight eye with them scissors.
