"Love, Laugh, Live" Canvas Tutorial

Hi, everyone. Its time for Sunday Tutorial. Today I'm going to share about another mixed media canvas.

Here's what you need:

  1. Canvas
  2. Chipboard Words (Want2scrap)
  3. The Crafter's Workshop Stencil (Bricks)
  4. Tattered Angels Mists (Verdigris, Bronze, Splash Chalkboard, Coconut Shell Glaze)
  5. Folkart Acrylic Paints (Titanium White, Baby Pink, Turquoise)
  6. Semco Acrylic Paint (Platinum Metallic)
  7. Distress Inks (Tea Dye, Vintage Photo)
  8. Golden Fiber Paste/Crackle Paste and Glass Bead Gel
  9. Stazon Jet Black Ink
  10. Assorted Stamps
  11. Prima Flowers and Paper
  12. Claudine Hellmuth Multi-Medium
  13. Swaroski Crystals
  14. Glossy Accent



Steps:

  1. Spray mists randomly and generously till it pools. Heat dry.
  2. Paint the sides and edges with acrylic paints
  3. Using a stencil, spread the mixture of fiber paste or crackle paste and glass bead gel at the top and bottom corner of canvas. Heat set.
  4. Distressed edges of paper strips and adhered with multi-medium.
  5. Stamp randomly across canvas.
  6. Using your fingers, dab white acrylic paint randomly.
  7. Paint the chipboard words with metallic paint. Heat dry.
  8. Adhere the chipboard words to canvas and add Swaroski crystals.
  9. Add flowers and you are done!
