Using Strips of Paper Challenge - Heather

Saturday, May 5, 2012

Hi scrappers!

Welcome to a Saturday of fun and scrapping.  Today's Challenges will be due by Midnight Monday to qualify for the RAKS.

I have a fun challenge for you today! I love using patterned paper on my layouts. Paper is one thing I majorly hoard. :) I want you to use some paper strips on your layout, card, or other project. On my layout here, I used some random pieces of paper-- I basically just looked through my scrap box and found papers I liked and cut them into strips. Really simple. :)

And of course this challenge wouldn't be as fun without a prize! I have a Echo Park "Splash" mini pad, Studio G flowers, a package of American Crafts rhinestone brads, clear Making Memories stamps, and one yard of red pom pom trim to send to a winner! You have to upload your LO here and make sure you leave a comment on my blog for a chance to win!

Thanks for stopping by.
Heather
You have until Midnight, Monday, May 7th to upload your LO/Card/Project here.

Next will be a Facebook Challenge with Sarah at 10:00 see you there.
Come back at 11:00 for out next challenge with Martina.

I just linked mine! I only used a couple of strips on each side of my pictures, but I hope it still counts?

Thanks for this challenge! Love your page done up with the paper strips. Now I think I should've lifted you and done different edges to the strips like you did. But anyway - glad I got a chance to participate this long NSD weekend. :)
