Fabulous Friday Challenge!

Friday, May 20, 2011

Summer is just around the corner, and with that are a few holidays that celebrate our freedoms in America and the people who protect those freedoms! Tomorrow, May 21st is Armed Forces Day and of course Memorial Day (May 30th) follows shortly after. And since we have a design team and followers from around the world, we would like to include everyone who celebrates their armed services and independence! So... this week's challenge is to make a card, layout or project with an armed forces/patriotic theme!
We would love to welcome this week's guest designer... Toccarra!

My name is Toccara Feliciano and I have been scrapping since 2000. I started scrapbooking in high school so when I was to graduate I would have a book to remember my friends by. Althought my scrapping did not really kick off until I had my first child in 2002 I have had a passion and talent for crafting. I started doing general crafts when I was a young girl. I have three wonderful girls that are the inspiration for my scrapping and scrpping and crafting brings me peace and much joy! I have found that this is truly a gift from above and I am determined to use it in the best possible way. I have a etsy shop were I sell things I make by hand from all walks of crafting. I also run a mission called Operation Handmade Blessings where I have recruited women all of the crafting world to help give gifts of handmade items to those living in ALF's and Nursing homes. We are just getting started but we are having a blast. I have created something for this weeks challenge and I hope that it is an inspiration to you all to be yourself and do what you know how to do best in this crafting world. I created a picture frame Patrotic scrap page. It is filled with patrotic colors and the american flag. The B is for BRAVE!!! I am always looking for new ways to be crafty and here is my project for this week. To find out more info about me and about all that I am doing in the craft world visit Life Of A Scrapper Toccara

Beautiful work ladies!. Let's make our heroes proud by making something nice for them since they keep us safe. My brother is a Soldier and he is in Cuba right now, I miss him so much, this is the perfect opportunity to show him how proud I'm of him.
