These days it seems that everyone is making their own embellishments... flowers, tags, brads, bling, faux papers... you name it and people are making it! We love the creativity that comes with making your own embellishments so our challenge this week is to make a card, layout or project using a homemade/handmade embellishment! We can't wait to see what you make!
We would like to introduce this week's Guest Designer.... Amanda!
Hi!! My name is Amanda Johnson. I live in a small town in southern Indiana with my wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. I am blessed enough to be a stay-at-home mom and I love having the opportunity to be there with my girls as they grow and get all those important everyday moments captured with my trusty camera! =) I started scrapping about 4 yrs ago when my oldest daughter was just a few months old. I had always loved taking pictures and this was a wonderful next step for me! I am not a crafty person by nature, so I was very surprised when I loved scrapping as much as I did! Now I love having that "me" time in my craft space, and I also love being able to share the albums I make with family and friends, and I love passing this wonderful love for creating onto my daughters...the hubby is next!! ;)
Amanda die cut/stamped all the tags, made the flower, and the quote block at the top was cut and altered out of patterned paper.
Amanda would live it if you stopped by her blog to say HI and see all her crafty goodness! You can get there by clicking HERE!
Now for our fabulous Design Team's projects.....
Elisabetta's album is so gorgeous, we asked her to share all of it with you!
Come back tomorrow to see the rest of it!
Lydia's circles are made from a pair of my boy's jeans.
The inside says, " I would walk in my garden forever".
Debbie made her banner and accordian pleated flowers.
Angie's handmade embellishment is the flower down in the left corner.
Torn fabric, re-inkers and water made these little flowers.
Erin hand made the bunny, eggs, and the grass by paper piecing them together
from an SVG file she used with her Cricut.
Wow! That is a lot of inspiration! We hope that inspires you enough to play along with us! If that is not enough, maybe this will help. The prize you are playing for this week....

8 x 8 mini album
6 sheets of 12 x 12 double sided paper
