Dryer Sheet Flowers

Hi, it's Libeeti here, and I'd like to share with you how I've made these flowers from a used dryer sheet.

You'll need:
1 used dryer sheet
scissors
ink (I used tea dye ditsress ink, but any ink will do)
a sponge
stickles

Step 1:
Fold the used dryer sheet into 4.

Step 2:
cut 2 sizes of circles. It doesn't have to be neet or precise, cause we're making a distress looked flowers anyway.
You should have 8 circles, in two sizes.

Step 3
rumple the circles and then open them gently.

Step 4:
Ink the circles.

Step 5:
Spread some stickles on the circles and let them dry (meanwhile you can go on working on your project, drink coffee, get the laundry done....).

I also used the leftover of the dryer sheet, and cut some leaves shapes (free hand cut), inked them with green ink and added some green/yellow stickles).

Step 6:
Adhere the circles one on top of the other, starting with the big ones. If you've made leaves, adhere them underneath the flower.
And your done!

You can crumple the circles towards the center, or you can leave it as it is. I've done both.

You can embellish your flower with buttons, brads, pearls, small flowers, etc. On my lo, I used a button on one flower and a brad on the other.
You can adhere the leaves under your flower.
Here is a photo of this kind of flowers, used on a card:

Easy peasy, right? Now it's your turn to make those flowers. We'ld love to see how you used this tutorial, so don't forget to leave us a comment on this post, with a link to your creation.
