Look at what our design team did this week...

Barb
Distressing is one of Barb's favorite techniques and she had a lot of fun on this layout! Everything got distressed! She used her Tim Holtz paper distress for a lot of the edges on each layer and she inked some of the layers. She also used a stencil and applied Glimmer Mist to one of the layers!

Lori is working on her son's high school album.  She used her Cricut Imagine to make the brick background paper and distressed it with ink.  Lori cut out her son's schedule, matted it in brick red paper and distressed it with the Tim Holtz Distresser and ink.  She inked the journaling star and around the edge of her paper as well.

Libeeti

Libeeti loved this challenge so much! Distressing is her no.1 favorite technique. She distressed almost everything on this lo - from the pp, through the photo of her and her bf, the doilies, the dp, to the butterflies. She also made a distressed flower, out of fabric, and then she spread some stickles on it.

Angela
Angela has gone all out distressing this one! She sprayed Glimmermist over chipboard to make a mask of the title, torn and ripped the edges and sewn randomly along the edges and the photo.

Ruth
Ruth used My Mind's Eye papers and embellishments and had a bazzill cardstock that matched colorwise, but it was a 'tad' too bright.  She first used an edge distressing tool to rough up the edges of the cardstock.  Then she used a Tim Holtz foam applicator tool to tone down the color a bit using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen color.  She just dabbed her foam pad on the ink pad and then rubbed in half circles onto the paper about 1" into the cardstock from the edge.  To give it a bit more definition at the edge Ruth then added a little T.H. Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.  This time she dabbed the foam applicator into the ink and then just touched the very edges of the cardstock.
And check out this wonderful project by Crystal...

Crystal decided to alter an 8X10 artist stretched canvas for today's project. She used the distress techniques of lots of ink, paper crumpling, and distressing/tearing the edges of her photos and accents. Even the canvas is distressed. She first painted it brown, removed some paint with a textured cloth, added some silver, scraped some away with a nail file and the ran the same nail file around all edges of the canvas for some more definition.

Now it is your turn! We would love to see what you distress! Remember, each time you link up a project, you will entered for a chance to win the gift certificate from Memorable Seasons!!
