Katie shares a Good Day layout!

Hi friends! My name is Katie and I am back again to share with you a sweet little layout I did using some wonderful products from our store. I think the best thing about getting papers you really love is that there are so many ways you can make them stretch over a few layouts, like I did today with some of the great Fab Scraps shabbylicious line. Here are a few pics then you will see what I'm talking about!

I started with a piece of white cardstock. To get my background going, I used strips of the Fab Scraps paper along with another yellow and green pattern paper I had leftover in my stash. I evenly spaced them to make my own ' patterned' paper.

After that, I used the Heidi swap honeycomb mist stencil with 2 different mists, then gesso over the top with my finger. Then I started laying on the goodies! I also covered my Um Wow chipboard banner pieces in gesso first, then stickies and heated them to dry before  outlining a border.

This layout was so fun an  easy to make! If you haven't seen the great new products we have available at the store, you have to check it out! In fact, I'm making my own wish list for hubby this year! Thanks for stopping by today I hope I have inspired you to get scrapping!

Guess what!!! Only 3 more days and we will be revealing the November Mixed Media Paper Kit!! You are going to LOVE this one!! How about a sneak peek?!!!
