Hi Sarah here with a quick and easy tutorial to show you how to make a stacked mat for your photo
and use up lots of those little bits and pieces that are too cute to throw but
too small to be really useful!
first gather together
lots of small bits of patterned paper, tags, border strips etc that look good
together. The size and shape doesnt really matter - anything goes!
Assemble your
collection into a pile of an appropriate size to mat your photo with lots of
different patterns, shapes and textures peeping out between layers. Ink and
distress the edges of the papers if desired.
When you are happy with
your pile staple it all together - use as many staples as you need because they
will be hidden under your photo and won't show on your finished page.
Top your pile with your
photo. Add more stickers, rub-ons, tags etc to complete the look you
desire.
Adhere to your LO and voila - and effective mat that looks as though
you spent ages preparing it :)))
Hope you are inspired to give this a go.
Have a great day
:)))Sarah G
