I think the coolest thing about this hobby is how I get to meet people from all over the world! I also like that I am telling my kid's stories so that they can share them with their kids some day. And with 4 kids… there are a lot of stories to tell!!

I live in sunny Greece with my husband and my little girls who are my inspiration...I have been scrapping for about three years and I love the dirty mess of my mixed media LOs...Sometimes,although, I need a break and try some CAS pages but mixed media has stolen my heart!

Hi there I live at the coast in North Wales, Uk, with my motorbike crazy husband and scruffy old hound. The children flew the nest several years ago, so I now have more free time to be creative. I love getting inky, mixed media, scrapbooking and on a clean note, feltmaking

Hello! I live in Seoul, Korea with my father, mother and an older brother. I am seeking a unique and vintage mixed media. To express the feeling, I have used many materials and made various attempts.
I am continuously seeking inspiration, making an effort to share it, teaching students every day and making works.

My name is Joni Parker and I live in Phoenix, Arizona with my husband of 22 years and our 11 year old son, Joseph (my "subject" matter for most layouts). I started scrapbooking about 13 years ago and I'm am really glad I was already "in the groove" when he was born. (I didn't miss any photos or stories!) I also make cards and some altered projects, but my true love is telling stories and capturing memories on paper and the big bonus is that I am allowed to do that while getting messy and creative....that's a win-win in my book!!

 Hi! My name is Julie Tucker-Wolek and I have been scrapping since my son was born 17 years ago, but really got into it as a major passion about 8 years ago when my daughter was born. I create everything! Cards, layouts and altered projects!

Hi everyone! I live in sunny Texas with my hubby and two adorable Boston Terriers. My three children are grown and scattered to wind. I started scrapbooking over twelve years ago! My style is ever changing and evolving with a new love for mixed media.

Hi guys and gals! I'm a little town girl married to a big city boy. We live in West Texas and have four very active kids. I'm an Investment Advisor by day and a paper-cutting, ribbon-tying, dye-spraying, edge-distressing, paper-crafter by night. This hobby keeps the balance in our house and keeps mamma happy....and we all know what they say "if mamma aint happy...". I'm super excited about joining the Frosted Designs Design Team and look forward to getting started!

I have been scrapping for over 17 years. I love paper and can never have enough of it!! I aim to have my photos be the focus of each scrapbook page, and I love to share my stories on each page. I love to create 2 page layouts as well as canvases and gifts.

Hello! I live in Ontario, Canada. I'm am avid photographer where my favourite subjects are my two daughters. I've been a scrapbooker for about 12 years, a card maker for about 8 years and a project life junkie about 3 years! I'm fortunate enough to be able to be a paper crafter full time. My go to products are stamps, dies and stitching.

Hello! I am blessed to be a stay-at home, high-school homeschool scrapbooking momma/grandma from Texas. I have been scrapping for about 14 years now and enjoy creating a wide variety of projects. As a momma of five girls and a brand new grandaughter, I have plenty of girly inspiration to drive my passion. I am a proud Navy mom of two active duty sailors and one veteran. I love to read and hang out with my family in my free time.

I'm a Mixed Media Artist, Scrapbooker (paper and digital) and Soap Maker from Utah. I will try ANY and EVERY craft that tickles my fancy. I hope to retire soon and move back to the east coast of Florida. I look forward to spending more time with my kids, lots of time at the beach, and way more time CREATING.

Please take a minute to congratulate these ladies for joining our team!
And stop back tomorrow to see the BIG DESIGN TEAM REVEAL and challenge!

Frosted Designs Kit Team:

Hello there fellow scrappers!!! My name is Brandi Matos and I am just another obsessed crafter with a bad habit for paper crafting! I only started into this hobby about three years ago now but have found that this is my TRUE passion! I thoroughly enjoy crafting and put my all into each and every project!!!

I am currently a stay-at-home mother of two beautiful girls, and wife to the world's most amazing husband (Really… he is!!!). We live in sunny Tampa, Florida with most of our family close by. I spend much of my time doing paper crafts and wouldn't have it any other way! I love making scrapbook layouts and cards, as well as altered projects and mixed media work. As this is all still very new to me, I enjoy trying all kinds of techniques, both new and old. I don't really have a set 'style’… I just do what I think looks good :-)

Hi! Everyone. I live in Akwesasne where my husband and I are raising our Family. I am a Child Care Supervisor by day and Avid scrapper by night. I love everything about paper crafting. My go to items are masks, molding paste,flowers and lace.

Hi there! My Name is Rachelle and I live in Toledo, Ohio. I have 2 grown sons and 2 grandchildren. I spend my days wheelchair bound and working on creating many genres of art which all started in 2008. I love creating layouts, cards, mixed media, tags, and the most recent is coloring digi images with alcohol markers. All of it is the best therapy. My greatest strength is paying attention to details and taking the viewer on a visual journey of inspiration. Here I am on the kit team and I love working with the array of elements.I simply love to create, and inspire.

Mixed Media Team….

Hi I am Tamiko, I believe all things are possible with paper and good scissors. Add quality adhesive and things to write, draw and/or color with and BOOYAH... We are having ourselves nothing but pure JOY and EXCITEMENT! I do a little bit of everything (smile), although my concentration as of lately has been towards card making, mixed media and art journaling. I am also a social media junky.. if there is an app. out there.. I've heard of it.. possibly used it or have had an account for it.

Hi there FD friends! Rachelle here with excitement to share my Christmas card I created using the December Kit "Traditions." I so loved everything this kit comes with. Let's take a look.

"We Wish You A Merry Christmas"

I started off with layers and paper punches around the edges. Then I inked and distressed the edges.

More Views:

 Now it's time to apply the gorgeous kit embellishments. The florals, metal doily, and wood chip star and flourishes.

I had fun creating a star then applying glass glitter pearl several times. This glitter is totally fantastic!

The kit comes with awesome twine that I applied at the top of the card.

Finally, I did some fussy cutting for the title and simply placed on top of the metal flourish. You can see how well the glass glitter pops out.

Well that's it for 2014! I had so much fun creating this card just to say "We Wish You A Merry Christmas."

Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to get your hands on this gorgeous kit and more products from the Frosted Design Store.

Rachelle's Merry and Bright Tutorial!

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

Hi there FD friends! Rachelle here and I am so happy to be sharing this layout I made using the December Kit-"Traditions."
This kit contains an array of gorgeous elements from the florals to The Cozy Christmas cardstock collection. Let's get started with today's tutorial.

 "Merry & Bright Memories"

{Step1}

I selected the beautiful cardstock and distressed the edges followed by trimming and centering the second cardstock. As usual you will see layers and layers of cardstock which I love doing. Then I applied texture paste to the beautiful Prima doily stencil along with spritz dots and ink.

{Step 2}

 Here I used the picture of my girlfriend's daughter Little Olivia. Dressed in a beautiful red chiffon and satin dress having fun dancing. I placed 4 layers, paper punched the edges around the picture and created a beautiful floral cluster

{Step 3}

Here is the bottom of the cluster showing the twine, star and more floral. You can easily see the paper edge punch.

{Step 4}

This step shows more of the center view where I applied pearls, butterfly, floral cluster, and flair button.

{Step 5}

I decided to show a smaller picture of Olivia as a cute little charm. I applied a hanging snowflake, enamel dots, twine, lace and journal. Then I placed splats of pearls mists.

 {Step 6}

Finally, the title consist of a flair which says "Merry & Bright," and chipboard title which says "Memories." I applied gesso and ink.
And there you have it!

I hope you enjoyed checking out my project today. Be sure to get this gorgeous kit and more at the Frosted Design Store. Thank you for stopping by today. See Ya Soon!

Heart & Soul with Rachelle!

Tuesday, November 11, 2014

Before we get to today's post, I want to take a moment to thank all of the men and women who have served our great country and have sacrificed so much so that we may have the freedoms that we have. You are appreciated!!

_____________________________________________________________________

 Hi Frosted Design friends! Rachelle here with you today. Sharing my mixed media project created by using the beautiful November "Rustic Beauty" kit. My mixed media craze continues strong without fear as I use to have. I just love it! Here is a quick tutorial so let's get started.

The title of this project is "heart & Soul." Here you will find that I love to combine embellishments from other kits along with the present because they blend together so well.

{Step 1}
I started off with a plain canvas and created textured background using several stencils. I so adore all the stencils on the market today. Next I speeded up the drying process by using my heating tool. I decided to use the peach and green cardstock because I wanted a peachy look.

 {Step 2}
Now it's time to began applying the embellishments which I glued onto the canvas. Then I began painting the canvas with white acrylic paint except for the flowers, butterfly, flair button and pearls. Allow time to dry along with using the heating tool. Becareful because the metal will get hot to the touch.

{Step 3}
Now it's time to apply spritz and ink. I love the peachy color. Then I cleaned off some of the spritz from the pearls and metal number. Allow drying time.

{Step 4}
Now it's time to apply the flower clusters, pearls, and ribbon. I created a tag and placed it in the top left corner then applied the bows.

 {Step 5}
I continued on by applying the flair button and filling in where needed.

 {Step 6}
Finally I add a few more spritz drops around the sides and on top. Then cleaned off a few areas. All done! There you have a mixed media canvas.
I really enjoy creating mixed media. With this kit you can go further creating more beautiful projects. I hope you have been inspired today and don't forget to hop around for our "Gift of Giving Blog Hop now going on.
Thanks for stopping by today and remember to pick up this kit and more at
Frosted Design Store for all your project needs.

See Ya soon!
Huggies!!!
