Hi there crafters! Rachelle here sharing tutorial steps and tips for creating a mixed media project using this month's kit~"September's We Are Family!" This kit if filled with such gorgeous selection of elements. I was totally in awe. You will want to create more than just 1 project. The colors are so beautiful they are sure to make your project pop and stand out with amazing work.
Grab a cup of coffee or tea and following the steps for this project. Here we go!

Take a look at this gorgeous kit!

{Step 1}
I selected a 5x7 corrugated board for this project.
For the background I applied layers of torn cardstock then applied the Prima stenci with texture paste. After drying inked the design with Donna Salazar Clear Snap Mixed Media Inx and several colors of spritz from shimmer z paint. Allow time to dry well. The clear snap ink are wet and heavy which I love. If you have more than one on hand they easily snap together for easy organizing.

 {Step 2}
I used a Dusty Attic chipboard-Arch Window from my stash for the center. Next, I paper punched some edges and applied along the top and placed lace along the bottom with pearls. Now for real fun is fussy cutting flowers from Carta Bella Moments & Memories cardstock followed by place them along the sides. Next time to apply the embellishments which I love doing. First I applied floral greenery and flowers. I loved the beautiful lace Prima flowers that comes with the kit which I applied followed by applying flowers from my stash.

{Step 3}
Now it's time to apply the beautiful Webster's Pages Designer Accents and Authentique "Harmony" element sheet. Next I used the Carta Bella sticker sheet which has beautiful stickers to choose from. The kit comes with my favorite enamel dots which I placed in the center.

{Step 4}
Now it's time to apply the Prima Shabby Chic metal door post in the center toward to top. Then I applied a pearl piece of jewelry and wooden corner element. My idea was to fill this project with lots of beautiful array of embellishments to show off the beauty this kit offers.

{Step 5}
Almost done. I applied my signature ribbon bow and burlap twine. Finally, I applied a pearl stickpin.

All finished!
Hope you enjoyed my project! This one came together quick and easy! Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to pick up this kit and more in our Frosted Designs Store. You will find lots of products for your next project.
See Ya Soon! Huggies!
