Hi, everyone. I'm Carol Theng and today I will doing a video tutorial on mixed media art.
To help you to create your own mixed media art easily, I will also provide a written tutorial.
"Tattered Clock" Mixed-Media Canvas:
Part 1: Altering the Canvas
- Spray Tattered Angels glimmer mists: Seafoam, Forest Green, Teal High Heel Chalkboard mist, Copper, Tattered Leather randomly across the canvas.
- Hold the canvas sideways to let the mists drip across the canvas(to create patterns). Heat dry.
- Ink edges of all papers with Tea Dye and Vintage Photo distress inks. and adhere together with cheesecloth using multi-medium.
- Create brick wall patterns across canvas using Crafter's Workshop Mini-Bricks Template and Tea Dye and Vintage Photo distress inks.- Spray Copper and Tattered Leather mists at the middle part of the papers. Heat dry.
Part 2: Altering the chipboards
- Adhere Dusty Attic chipboards onto canvas with Beacons Craft Glue.
- Cover chipboards with texture paste.
- Spray or brush Copper, Seafoam, Tattered Leather mists onto the chipboards. Heat Dry.
